Summer Bishil (born June 15, 1985) is an American actress best famous for her character Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy fantasy-drama series that aired from 2015 until present. Her prior role as Lebanese American teenager Jasira, who goes through many personal trials in the context of U.S. military conflict in Iraq was in Alan Ball's film Towelhead. Following that she was selected as one of the Ten actors in Variety's list of to Watch. The 2009 film Crossing Over, in which she portrayed the powerful role of Taslima Jhangir, was nominated by the Independent Spirit Award as the most outstanding female lead.
